ABOUT FULL CIRCLE PERINATAL CARE

At Full Circle Perinatal Care, our goal is to provide a whole-person, patient-centred care to those pregnant or planning a pregnancy. We aim to provide a multidisciplinary team approach which allows for well-informed, supportive care. Our team includes Maternal Fetal Medicine/Obstetrics, Midwifery, Nursing, Acupuncture, and Mindfulness.

At this time, our practice is providing care on a consultative care basis only. To access care, please contact us directly or have your primary care provider send a referral to our office. Most services are covered under Medical Services Plan BC. 

​

Our practice is located at #101-1964 Fort Street, Victoria, BC. Your initial consultation will be done by phone. You will receive in-person care as required.

Dr. W. Kim MacDonald
Maternal Fetal Medicine

Dr. MacDonald (he/him/his) obtained his medical degree from UBC. He completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Dalhousie University. He did a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at UBC. He has a Master of Science degree from UBC in Genetics.

Dr. MacDonald has clinical interests in high risk pregnancy, and general gynaecology, particularly minimally invasive surgery.

MJ Harris
Registered Midwife

MJ Harris (she/her/hers) is a Registered Midwife. She completed her education and received a Bachelors of Health Science in Midwifery from Laurentian University in Sudbury, Ontario. 

MJ has many years of experience caring for families as a Registered Midwife in Victoria, BC and has interest and experience in caring for gender diverse and queer people and families. MJ works as the Perinatal Loss Health Navigation within Island Health and specializes in caring for people after the loss of their baby.

Stephanie Curran
Acupuncture & Mindfulness

Stephanie Curran (she/her/hers) is a Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner.  She has been supporting people in growing their families, during their pregnancies, and through postpartum for over two decades.

Stephanie also facilitates a variety of mindfulness programming and is a certified instructor of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction through Brown University.

Heather Strachan
Registered Nurse

Heather Strachan (she/her/hers) was educated in England and received her Diploma in Nursing, Bachelors of Science in Midwifery  (University of Bedfordshire) and Post Graduate Diploma in Medical ultrasound (University of Hertfordshire).

Heather has 28 years experience as a Midwife/Obstetric Nurse with a clinical interest in various nursing fields, including hemodialysis, elderly care, obstetrics and especially, early pregnancy.

 Dr. Hayley Bos
Maternal Fetal Medicine

Dr. Hayley Bos (she/her/hers) completed her medical degree at the University of Western Ontario. She also completed her Obstetrics and Gynaecology residency and Maternal-Fetal Medicine subspecialty fellowship at the University of Western Ontario. She completed her Master of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University.

Dr. Bos is a Perinatologist in Victoria with special interests in complicated pregnancies and pre-conceptual counselling. Dr. Bos is the current Medical Director of Victoria General Hospital and Medical Director of Maternity for Island Health.

 Dr. James Hayward
Maternal Fetal Medicine

Dr. James Hayward (he/him/his) completed his medical degree in Victoria through the University of British Columbia. He completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Saskatchewan, followed by a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at BC Women’s Hospital. He specializes in medically complex pregnancies and pre-conceptual counselling. He has an interest and experience in working with marginalized populations. He no longer practices general Gynecology.
